Paper in Phys. Rev. B

Postdocs Enderalp Yakaboylu and Bikashkali Midya (currently at U Penn) developed a theory of the “rotating polaron” (or the “moving angulon”) – an impurity possessing both translational and rotational degrees of freedom. The work was done in collaboration with the mathematical physicists Andreas Deuchert and Nikolai Leopold (group of Prof. Seiringer)
